This role involves:
- Manage the foaling unit (average of 100 foalings per season).
- General yard duties to support the Stud Manager & team.
- The foaling unit has CCTV and a foaling alert system.
- Support of 24/7 on call of the stud’s on-site vet & a very competent foaling backup team.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Experience in foaling is not essential as training can be given.
- Competence in handling horses on their own.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours.
Salary is negotiable depending upon previous experience. Accommodation may be available for the right candidate.
